Samsung TV Plus Partners with KT Studio Genie for Global K-Content Expansion

Samsung Electronics is strengthening its K-content competitiveness by partnering with comprehensive content producer 'KT Studio Genie'.

Samsung Electronics announced on the 13th through its newsroom that it has signed a strategic partnership with KT Studio Genie to provide KT Studio Genie original content on 'Samsung TV Plus'.

Samsung Electronics will offer popular Genie TV original dramas produced by KT Studio Genie, including "House with a Yard," "The Recruit," and "To My Harry," free of charge to Korean and global viewers through Samsung TV Plus.

Hidden gems "Erotic Photo Studio" and "Namib" will also be exclusively released on Samsung TV Plus.

Additionally, the company will operate 24-hour programming of popular content and provide monthly curated K-content selections for global viewers.

Kim Yong-soo, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Visual Display Business, stated, "This strategic partnership with KT Studio Genie will solidify Samsung TV Plus's leading position in the FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) market. Samsung TV Plus is a FAST service that can be accessed on various devices including Samsung TVs and mobile devices without separate registration or subscription. Through this service, Samsung Electronics provides approximately 3,500 channels and 66,000 video-on-demand (VOD) titles free of charge in 30 countries worldwide.
