FCC 떠나는 로셀워셀 "지속적 리더십 강조" 그러나 모든 것이 변할 것(FCC Outgoing Rosenworcel "Emphasizes Continued Leadership" But all about to change)

미국 방송통신 규제 기관인 연방방송통신위원회(FCC)의 최고 책임자는 정부가 바뀌면 대부분 사표를 낸다. 임기와는 관계 없다. 이번에도 그랬다.

트럼프 대통령 당선자가 브렌단 카(Brendan Carr)를 후임 의장으로 지명하자, 제시카 로센워셀 현 위원장은 이별을 예고했다.  FCC의장 제시카 로센워셀(Rosenworcel)이 새로운 의장으로 지명된 브렌단 카(Brendan Carr)를 축하하는 성명을 발표했다. 이제 직을 내려놓는다는 의미다.

The head of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the U.S. broadcasting regulator, usually resigns when the government changes. It has nothing to do with tenure. And so it was this time.

After President-elect Trump nominated Brendan Carr as her successor, current Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel announced departure.  FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel released a  statement congratulating Brendan Carr on his nomination to be the new chairman. It means she's stepping down.
