Fourteen Gyeonggi AI startups take buyer and investor meetings to Singapore

Fourteen Korean AI, data and SaaS startups selected by the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (경기창조경제혁신센터, GCCEI) will be in Singapore from Oct. 25 to 30. GCCEI chief executive Kim Won-kyung (김원경) leads the delegation, and the Seoul accelerator 3Stripe Venture Studio (쓰리스트라이프, 3SVS) runs the programme.

The week ends with the AroundX Open House on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Plume, on the ground floor of the Singapore Flyer. All 14 companies pitch back to back, and Singapore corporates and investors then "reverse pitch" the technology they want to buy or back. Entry is free; organisers ask guests to register online, though walk-ins are welcome.

Ten startups on a Microsoft track, four with Oracle, timed to SWITCH 2026

The trip is part of AroundX, the Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups' (중소벤처기업부) programme pairing startups with global companies. Ten of the companies follow a Microsoft track and four an Oracle track. GCCEI launched its Oracle programme in Pangyo in May and said at the time that it would end with a Singapore leg in October. Kim said then that the centre would support the companies closely "so they can show tangible results in Southeast Asia," Money Today's Unicorn Factory reported on May 15.

The schedule runs alongside SWITCH 2026, Singapore's flagship innovation week, at Sands Expo and Convention Centre from Oct. 27 to 29. Monday brings a showcase and meetings with Singapore government and industry partners; Tuesday the Microsoft and Oracle track programmes and SWITCH; Wednesday the Oracle programme plus group and booth meetings at SWITCH; Thursday the open house. Each team completed pitch coaching and online pre-meetings with Singapore partners before leaving Korea.

The companies arrive with traction to show. Fleetune says its route optimisation cuts dispatch planning from an hour to five minutes. Hyperstar screens more than 10 million creator profiles for those who convert and counts Celltrion (셀트리온) among its clients. LUMOS administers government grants for 450 small businesses across 769 projects without a single clawback. MAZE, which turns existing CCTV into on-device store analytics, finished a six-month paid pilot with MIYABI in the U.S. and signed three letters of intent. ALL-CONEC's AI CAD lets dentists produce a prosthesis in about an hour.

Stage, startup tables and pop-up round tables, with 30-minute slots

The stage, the tables and the meetings run in one room at the same time. Startup tables open at 1 p.m., IR pitching starts at 2 p.m., reverse pitching at 3:30 p.m., one-to-one meetings and round tables at 4 p.m. and happy hour at 5 p.m. When several guests share an interest, hosts set up a small table and bring in the relevant founders.

Registering at gccei-aroundx.kr/aroundx/rsvp gives access to all 14 company profiles and lets guests book 30-minute slots for the afternoon. Guests sign up as buyers, investors or partners and can also request an online call before the week. Plume is about 450 metres from Promenade MRT.

Outlook: a first meeting point, measured by pilots and follow-on rounds

"If you are looking for Korean partners, technologies or investment opportunities, or simply want to meet the Korean startup ecosystem, we would love to see you there," 3SVS said in a LinkedIn post announcing the delegation. The week narrows from online pre-meetings to on-site meetings at SWITCH and booked slots at the open house. With 12 of the 14 companies raising, the measure of the trip will be how many conversations turn into pilots and contracts with Singapore buyers and into follow-on rounds from regional investors.
