Hallyu which refers to the global popularity of Korean pop culture, has been around since the late 1990s. Recently, the term has been replaced by K-Wave, which is easier to understand in the West.

However, both terms have the same meaning and essence of referring to the globalization of Korean pop culture, which is why it's so important to revisit the Korean Wave, especially when you consider that Bruno Mars and Blackpink Rose's song "APT" has over 100 million views on YouTube.

Even in the age of entertainment technology, Hallyu still flows.
