SUMMARY ICNX 2026 opens Nov. 3 at Songdo ConvensiA in Incheon. Its 76-second Technology Showcase trailer shows a text prompt becoming a video scene, a digital human on screen and AI dubbing that matches lip movements. Four companies present at the Showcase on Nov. 4.
ICNX 2026, the Incheon Advanced Media Global Conference, opens Tuesday, Nov. 3, in Grand Ballroom A and B at Songdo ConvensiA (송도컨벤시아) in Incheon and runs through Nov. 4.
Ahead of the opening, organizers released a 76-second trailer for the event’s Technology Showcase. The video traces how generative AI is reshaping content production, stage by stage: planning, filming, performance, dubbing and distribution. It carries Korean and English subtitles and was produced by HelloWorks (헬로웍스).
The conference is hosted by Incheon Metropolitan City (인천광역시) and organized by Incheon Technopark (인천테크노파크), with support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (문화체육관광부), the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA, 한국콘텐츠진흥원) and the Incheon Tourism Organization (인천관광공사), under the slogan “Bridging Entertech to Global Business” (엔터테크의 연결, 비즈니스의 확장). Day one focuses on platform business and day two on entertainment tech business. This is the second edition, following its 2025 debut.
English is the official language. Thirty-seven companies are taking part, 20 in the B2B program and 17 in the B2C exhibition, and admission is free to the public. The city expects more than 2,000 visitors.

From a pencil sketch to a prompt — text becomes a scene

The trailer opens on a drafting table, where a hand pencils a perspective drawing of a colonnaded temple. After the line “AI is changing the way we create content,” the scene cuts to a darkened studio. An operator types “A vast canyon city at sunrise” into a prompt window, and the sketch lines resolve into a canyon city of waterfalls and arched bridges.
The narration frames it plainly: tasks that once had to be done entirely by humans can now begin with an idea written in words, which AI instantly turns into a video scene.
Digital humans in dramas, ads and virtual idols — and dubbing that matches lips

The second segment turns to digital humans. A holographic body model becomes a wireframe face, then a finished character hard to tell apart from a live actor. Digital humans, the trailer says, can express emotion and speak like real people, and appear in dramas, commercials, virtual idol projects and TV broadcasts.
Next, a figure stands at the center of a circular stage as voice signals branch out in four directions, under the line “Language barriers are also being broken down.” According to the trailer, AI dubbing preserves an actor’s vocal tone while translating dialogue into multiple languages and synchronizing lip movements. For Korean content headed abroad, dubbing has meant booking separate voice casts and studio time for every language.

Short-form and streaming services carry it to a global audience

The final segment is about distribution: a commuter watching on a phone, a family in front of a wall-size screen, and a globe laced with lines of light. Content made this way, the trailer says, reaches audiences through short-form video and streaming services across channels worldwide.
The title card “How AI Is Transforming Content Production” is followed by an invitation to experience it at the ICNX 2026 Technology Showcase, and the video closes on “Unlocking New Possibilities Through AI and Technology.”
Showcase on Nov. 4: Oneness Korea, Westworld, Hudson AI and NEW ID
The Technology Showcase runs for 70 minutes from 2:40 p.m. on Nov. 4 in Hall A. The official program titles it “How AI Changed the Content Production Process — Technology Use Cases from Four Companies in Production, Voice, Search and Distribution.”
Kim Jin-soo (김진수), CEO of Oneness Korea (원니스코리아); Lim Joo-young (임주영), head of technology research at Westworld (웨스트월드); Shin Hyun-jin (신현진), CEO of Hudson AI (허드슨AI); and Kim Jo-han (김조한), co-founder and managing director of NEW ID (뉴아이디), will each present how their technology is being applied in production and distribution.
Adobe’s Darren Frankel opens; NVIDIA’s Jeff Kember presents online
After the 10:30 a.m. opening ceremony on Nov. 3, Darren Frankel, Adobe’s head of film and television, gives the first keynote, on how AI infrastructure is reshaping content production and distribution. Jeff Kember, principal technical evangelist for NVIDIA Media2, delivers the second keynote online.
Session 1, on how far generative AI has cut production costs and timelines, features Kim Kwang-jip (김광집), CEO of Studio Meta K (스튜디오메타케이), and Koo Yong-nam (구용남), CEO of HelloWorks. A round table on how cities and venues become content platforms brings together Kim Spurgeon, director of the Nevada Film Office; Kim Jong-min (김종민), CEO of Studio Real Live (스튜디오리얼라이브); and Douglas Montgomery, CEO of Global Connects Media. Jung Han (한정훈), CEO of K-EnterTech Hub, moderates both.
On Nov. 4, Ko Sam-seog (고삼석), distinguished chair professor at Dongguk University, speaks on why K-content and AI should be treated as a single national strategy, and Yoon Kwon-soo (윤권수), professor at Seoul Institute of the Arts, looks at how technology is changing production. Session 4, on where revenue comes from after subscriptions, features Jeon Seung-hoon (전승훈) of SmartMediaRep (스마트미디어렙), Lim Da-sol (임다솔) of Modive (모다이브), and Jayce Tham, chief business officer at CreativesAtWork. Talk concerts feature Geekble (긱블) content producer Lee Jung-tae (이정태) on Nov. 3 and JoCoding (조코딩) founder Cho Dong-geun (조동근) on Nov. 4.
Expected guests at the opening include Kim Sung-joong (김성중), Incheon’s administrative deputy mayor; National Assembly member Chung Il-young (정일영) of Incheon’s Yeonsu District B; and Kim Dae-young (김대영), chair of the Incheon City Council’s Administrative Safety Committee, according to the organizers.
26 investors and buyers, 20 meeting booths
The B2B business-matching program brings together 26 venture capital firms, accelerators, buyers and related agencies, running 20 meeting booths in Hall B in 40-minute slots over both days. Seventeen companies show advanced media content in the B2C exhibition.
In materials the city released on Oct. 28, Incheon Mayor Park Chan-dae (박찬대) described ICNX 2026 as a core platform for domestic and international companies and institutions to explore the future of advanced media and content and to find new opportunities for cooperation, and pledged continued support to make Incheon a hub for the global content and media industry (Point Daily, in Korean).
From demo to deal: commercializing production tech is the thread
This year’s edition places technology presentations and investment meetings in the same two-day schedule. Each tool in the trailer — text-to-video, digital humans, AI dubbing — bears directly on production budgets, schedules and localization costs. Whether the technologies presented at the Showcase and sessions turn into investment and distribution talks at the meeting booths is what the two days will test.
A business networking reception follows at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 4, and a site tour runs on Nov. 5. Registration and the full schedule are at icnx.kr.
