Korea's AICON 2026 pavilion trades booths for a networking zone

K-EnterTech Hub leads a delegation with KIBA, HelloWorks, ONENESS KOREA and HyConSoft — lunch and masterclass on 8 Oct, main-stage panel on 9 Oct

Korea's AICON 2026 pavilion trades booths for a networking zone

K-EnterTech Hub (케이엔터테크허브) will run the Korea pavilion at AICON 2026 in Singapore as a single Networking Zone rather than a row of exhibition booths. The two-day AI festival opens at SCAPE on 8 October.

The Korean delegation includes the Korea IPTV Broadcasting Association (한국IPTV방송협회, KIBA), HelloWorks (헬로웍스), ONENESS KOREA (원니스코리아) and HyConSoft (하이콘소프트).

The zone is built around a shared backdrop carrying the line "Connect. Collaborate. Create the Future." and the participants' logos, with a table for each organisation. Companies will bring monitors and company decks to their tables and meet broadcasters, telecom operators and investors there.

The format reflects the size of the final delegation. K-EnterTech Hub had opened four exhibitor booths for Korean companies; with four organisations confirmed, it shifted the weight from floor space to stage time and meetings.

Delegation lunch and an AI filmmaking masterclass on day one

On 8 October the delegation hosts a networking lunch at Nuldam Space, SCAPE, from noon. KIBA President Yu Yongwha (유용화) will give welcome remarks, followed by short introductions from HyConSoft CEO Hwang Jin-ho (황진호), HelloWorks producer Byun Young-gyu (변영규) and ONENESS KOREA CTO Eo Jin-hyuk (어진혁). Singapore telecom and media executives have been invited.

At 2:05 pm the Korean AI Filmmaking Masterclass runs at The Commune. K-EnterTech Hub CEO Jung Han opens with a keynote. HelloWorks will show how it brought Rayphie (라이파이), a 1959 Korean comic, back to life with generative AI, and ONENESS KOREA will present controllable AI that keeps characters consistent across ads and IP-based video.

Korea–Singapore panel on the main stage

On 9 October at 11:45 am the K-Global × K-EnterTech Conference @ AICON takes the Ground Theatre. President Yu opens the session, followed by a panel titled "Korea-Singapore AI Exchange: Building an AI-Ready Future."

Jung Han moderates. The speakers are Samseog Ko (고삼석), Distinguished Professor at Dongguk University and a former Standing Commissioner of the Korea Communications Commission; Byun Young-gyu of HelloWorks; and Kim Jin-su (김진수), CEO of ONENESS KOREA.

Over the two days the delegation will also meet Singapore government agencies and telecom and cloud companies. KIBA is looking to build ties with local pay-TV operators, while HyConSoft, HelloWorks and ONENESS KOREA are seeking local partners.

Second year as an official partner

This is K-EnterTech Hub's second year as an official AICON partner. The organiser's 3 September press release listed it alongside Tesla, Singtel and Alibaba. At the inaugural edition in 2025, K-EnterTech Hub's Digital Future Lab hosted a session on the future of K-content, with a keynote by Professor Ko.

AICON is a consumer-facing AI festival tied to Singapore's national Digital for Life campaign. Visitors try AI tools on the floor, which lets exhibitors hold buyer meetings and watch how users respond in the same place.
