[Cannes – Special Team] The world’s largest TV and streaming content market, MIPCOM 2025, concluded on October 16 (local time), reaffirming the global influence of K-content. Organizer RX France reported that 10,600 participants from 107 countries attended this year’s event, with 350 companies exhibiting. The number of buyers reached 3,340, marking a 3% increase from the previous year.

Lucy Smith, Director of MIPCOM Cannes and MIP London, said, “This year’s MIPCOM marked the biggest shift in a generation. The creator economy firmly entered the center of the market, with YouTube’s first full-scale participation, the new Brand Storytelling Summit, and a resurgence in distribution and sales activity bringing vibrant energy to Cannes.”
