New Book "Next Korean Wave": The Future of Hallyu Shaped by Entertainment and Technology
Samseog Ko, former Commissioner of the Korea Communications Commission (KCC) and current Distinguished Professor at Dongguk University’s College of AI Convergence, has published a new book that diagnoses the future of Hallyu—the Korean Wave—and explores how the convergence of entertainment and cutting-edge technology will shape the next era of K-content. Titled “Next Hallyu: The Future of Hallyu Created by the Convergence of Entertainment and Technology,” the book reflects on 30 years of Hallyu’s global rise, from dramas and K-pop to the latest digital trends, and offers concrete strategies for sustainable growth in the age of AI and global streaming platforms.
