smartcms (스마트씨엠에스) and K-EnterTech Hub (K엔터테크허브) will host Waving Night at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at FastFive Samseong 4 in Gangnam, Seoul, to review entertainment tech in 2026 and look ahead to 2027.
The evening comes two months before CES 2027 (Jan. 6–9, Las Vegas). The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has said the show will focus on what AI delivers for revenue and efficiency, Seoul Economic Daily reported on Oct. 14. Digital Hollywood, held the day before the show opens, covers microdramas, creator monetization and cinematic AI. Waving Night walks Korean entertainment, media and content companies through that agenda first.
Every attendee receives the briefing book Entertainment Tech 2027 Outlook and CES Analysis. "Waving" refers to riding the entertainment tech wave.

Planning the CES week two months out
CTA expects CES 2027 to ask what AI actually delivers. From Digital Hollywood's microdrama and creator-monetization sessions to Lenovo's keynote at Sphere, examples of technology turning into revenue in entertainment will gather in Las Vegas that week. Waving Night is where Korean companies can decide in advance what to see and whom to meet.
